My First Sanity Post
A small test post to verify that Sanity content is flowing into the website correctly.
17 April 2026

## Notes from the machine room
There is a particular kind of afternoon when the internet feels older than it is. Tabs sit open like unpaid bills, a fan hums somewhere behind the desk, and every good idea arrives wearing the coat of something you almost forgot.
This test entry exists to make sure the new site can render an essay with rhythm, not just text. It includes a link to [keshavtrehan.com](https://keshavtrehan.com/) so inline links can be checked inside the article body.
## A small inventory
Before the real essays arrive from Webflow, this page needs to prove that the simple things work well: paragraphs, headings, lists, and the occasional image. The page should feel calm and legible, like a note found in a well-used field book.
- Headings should create useful pauses.
- Paragraphs should keep a readable line length.
- Links should look intentional without shouting.
- Lists should feel designed, not abandoned by the browser.
### The second drawer
A smaller heading should not try to become the main event. It should simply open another drawer in the argument and let the reader continue without losing their place.
1. Start with the content model.
2. Render the document from Sanity.
3. Compare the page against Figma and Webflow.
4. Tighten the typography until it stops asking for attention.
## Image placeholder
This section is here to verify the spacing around media. If a featured image or body image is attached later, it should sit inside the article naturally, with enough room around it to breathe.
## Closing note
Once this post renders correctly, the template is ready for real migrated essays. The words can change later. The important thing is that the page knows how to hold them.
